We Love America

It is difficult for anyone to understand the acts of terrorism that happened in our country on Tuesday, September 11. It is especially difficult for young children. Our class knows that many people are sad and hurting. On Monday, September 17, our whole school wore red, white and blue to show our support. Here we are!
We will be collecting coins for our PTO's coin drive. All donations will go to help the victims and their families.

Project Teddy Bear!

Ms. Donna McCleary, a local resident and wife of a local fire fighter, asked our class to help her bring a little joy into the lives of children whose parents lost their life while responding to the terroristic attack in New York City. Ms. McCleary provided us with 20 teddy bears and each student in our class personalized a card to accompany a teddy bear. The teddy bears, along with their notes, are being sent to New York City's Ladder Company 5. We hope the teddy bears will bring some cheer into the children's lives.
